Step 1
Use Ph1/Ph2 Screw driver to easily unscrew and take out the two screws at the base of the oscillating multi tool Model 86225-1 as shown.
Step 2
After the 2 screws are removed, open the plastic housing/chassis by sliding it back. You will be able to see the inside of the tool.
Step 3
While plugged in, turn on/off switch inside as shown. If the switch works, the tool is good. Wrap some tape on the white plastic to engage with ON/OFF Switch outside of the tool. If it does not turns on, check for the loose wire(s). Reconnect (or solder).
